Just eat 5 or 6 raw ALOMONDS no salt nothing with in 5 min. Or so heartburn will be gone .

Drink couple of ounces of Aloe Vera Juice. Get from any health food stores. Heartburn goes away fast and try this every time you have it or before you eat

Take One tablespoon of Distilled White Vinegar at the onset of heart burn.

RAW Carrots, Potatoes and Apple.You can grate or eat whole, a carrot or a Potatoe or a apple. THESE ARE ALL ACID NEUTRALISERS.

For heart burn eat two peppermint candies or use one drop of peppermint oil on tongue. Heart burn will subside in 5 mins

club soda has baking soda, which of course remedies this problem. However, it tastes better than mixing baking soda and water at home and works just as well.

Eat LOTS of raw broccoli to kill heartburn. The fiber in the broccoli will bind to the acids and provide excellent relief

Unripe fruits are high in pectin, which is hard to digest so it has to be avoided.


Do not eat just before going to bed.

Avoid irregular and hurried meals.

Stop smoking and cut down on alcohol.

Follow yoga or some exercise to reduce stress.

Drink plenty of water.

1. Chew up a few basil (tulsi ) leaves to obtain relief from blazing, nausea and gas

Drink a tender coconut”s water and eat the fruity pulp. This soothes acidity. Take 300mg or 500mg of shilajit a day for a month. This strengthens digestive tract and brings in additional benefits.

Home Remedies?

I know a couple home remedies such as:

tomato= for sunburn…the acids help to heal it fast

vinegar-honey= for a cold…the vinegar helps to neutralize the bacteria and kill it off

does anyone else know any home remedies for illnesses and stuff like that? if so, what are they and what do they do?

Used tea bags and cucumber for tired eyes.
Strawberries will whiten teeth.
Bio yogurt for thrush, on a Tampax, non fruity EG plain.
Olive oil for sore lips, skin and after sun.
Whisked up egg for head lice, work it in leave for 20 minutes wash out and comb.
Tea tree oil for insect repellent and head lice repellent.
Lemon juice applied to spots will dry them up.
Peppermint tea for heartburn and indigestion.
Chamomile tea for relaxing sleep.
Lavender oil in an oil burner is relaxing also.

Heartburn. Home remedys?

I’ve had heartburn all day and haven’t ate anything because I don’t want to make it worse. Tried taking a Tums and it relieved it a little bit but not fully. What are some foods I can eat that will make it lighten up or possibly go away (besides milk)?

I swear by pickle juice straight from the jar. For some odd reason it works really well for me! I would suggest Gaviscon, though. That works so much better than Tums.

I along with many other people in my family have acid reflux disease so I learned a few tricks 😉

Eat a few slices of bread (white is best)
Drink about 1 cup of milk
Licorice and Peppermint seems to help some people
baking soda in water is nasty but my parents and grandmother do it lol

speaking of heartburn…I have it now lol
