2. Detoxify with Chia. Back in the ancient era, the Aztecs, Incas and Mayan tribes used chia seeds to provide them with endurance and strength. This is why Chia is often called the “superfood” of ancient civilizations. Today, the health benefits of chia seeds include improving fiber, omega-3 and 6 oils, potassium, calcium and magnesium supplies of the body. They also serve as the body’s intestinal broom by efficiently expelling waste through the gastrointestinal tract. This makes them widely used for detoxifying the body.

3. Minimize your sugar intake – Eating too much sugar causes your body to produce more insulin which may strain your pancreas and could significantly wear you out. Eventually, this kind of unhealthy habit results to chronic fatigue, diabetes, cancer and a few more pounds.

4. Staying physically active – Moving your body regularly promotes good blood circulation. Doing so will also enhance digestion, lubricate joints, reduce tension, and strengthen the body. Those who exercise regularly have lower toxin levels in their systems than those who do not.

5. Always drink tea – Tea is a very popular antioxidant. It also helps in hydrating the body and filling it up. This means that when you drink tea, you are less likely to eat too much or eat the wrong foods.

6. Have a healthy diet of fruits and greens – Your diet should consist of a variety of fruits and vegetables along with whole grains, legumes, beans and a doze of nuts and seeds.
